Strotex 110 PI steam barrier

Strotex 110 PI steam barrier

A steam barrier is a roofing membrane used in the construction of insulated attics and attics. The main difference between a steam barrier and other waterproofing materials is that it protects against water vapor rather than water in the liquid state. The main purpose of a vapor barrier film is to prevent steam and moisture from entering the inner layers of the insulation, as this will impair its thermal insulation properties.

The three-layer vapor barrier film Strotex 110 PI consists of a reinforcing layer in the form of a polyethylene fiber mesh and two layers of polyethylene film. The steam barrier is mounted on the inside of the insulation, it can be mounted horizontally or vertically. When mounting, all overlaps must be taped with special tapes or adhesive tapes for roofing films to ensure tightness.
Strotex 110 PI is an indispensable component of long-term insulation material operation.
